Wow, now that the decision has been made, the reality of the damage to the pocket is setting in after one week of shortening the wishing list. A pair of lovely Salamon XT Wings in "speotnik" frog green, some hydration products from PVM and a double suspension bike on order and my wife is demanding an exclusive holiday as counter measure. After my inaugural Sani2C and a very sore bum, I promised myself that I won't do another mountain bike race with a hardtail. After looking around I decided on a Yeti from Morningside Cycles as I found the service always friendly and professional. Looking forward to getting it within the next week. Visiting the optician I also treated myself to a couple of Rudy Project darkies with perscription lenses. I was worried about reading the maps. When canoeing I never use specs as my eyesight is not that bad, or that is what I thought. Hey man, now I can see other people in the park when I cycle. I always thought that I was the only one training. Until next time, remember do it for enjoyment, not for employment.
