Self-Guided Trips

If you are wanting to embark on a SELF GUIDED trip on the Freedom Trail, whether for a week or a month, look at some of the TOUR OPTIONS.  Decide how many HOURS you want to spend in the saddle each day,  the SECTIONS of the FREEDOM TRAIL  that you want to ride and the frequency of REST DAYS.

  1. To help you in your tour planning we have put together some TOUR OPTIONS.
  2. Once you have looked at these take a look at the TRIP PLANNER and work out a proposed itinerary
  3. Then follow the STANDARD BOOKING PROCEDURE .

Maps, Directions & Waypoints

The Freedom Trail is NOT MARKED yet. However, we provide DETAILED MAPS, DIRECTIONS and GPS WAYPOINTS for the different sections of the trail.  The directions give you a narrative route description, navigation points and distances between them.  The maps, directions and GPS waypoints can be downloaded off this website.

Guides

LOCAL COMMUNITY MOUNTAIN BIKE GUIDES are provided to you on the MALUTI section of the Freedom Trail. This service will be expanded to other sections.

Supported Tours

The Freedom Trail has been set up so that it can be ridden unsupported.  However, if you are wanting to undertake a SUPPORTED tour we work with accredited TOUR OPERATORS who can assist you with this.
